Todos tenemos una historia, cada familia está configurada de forma única y especial por toda una serie de recuerdos y vivencias, que conforman nuestro sentido de identidad y pertenencia. Juan J. Varela

Biography

Juan Varela, (Spain), holds a degree in theology from IBSTE in Spain and is a licensed minister through SETEHO in Honduras. His postgraduate certifications include systematic family intervention from the KINE Center, sexual disorders intervention from the Carpe Diem Center, and family mediation from the University of Seville. He has served as a church pastor at Palma de Mallorca, co-pastor in Zaragoza, and as a missionary in Honduras. He is the founder and national director of the Institute of Family Formation, president of the Center for Training and Family Mediation, known as COMEFA, and coordinator of the Family to Family association. He has written and published several books and is a popular conference speaker and frequent contributor to a variety of publications in Spain, Latin America, and the United States on themes of family.

Biography

María Mar Molina has a teaching degree from the University of Cordoba and a bachelor’s degree in theology from IBSTE, a seminary in Spain. She has taken classes in family mediation at the University of Seville and in counseling at the “Niche College” in England. She is coordinator of the From Family to Family program sponsored by AGAPE and is the co-author, with her husband Juan Varela, of several books on the subject.
