Pastor Rigoberto Gálvez with more than forty years of continuous preaching becomes a man with vast experience to help those who are starting in the pastoral ministry, specifically in preaching. Rigoberto M. Gálvez

Biography

Dr. Rigoberto M. Galvez is a pastor and theologian.  He has a degree in Theology from the University Mariano Galvez in Guatemala, and holds a Masters in Communication and a Doctorate in Theology (PhD) from the Panamerican University in Guatemala. He also holds an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity from Sweetwater Bible College, Arizona, and has done coursework in Philosophy. He has been professor of Systematic Theology, and has been part of the examination boards in the humanities in diverse universities of Guatemala. He is a communicator and conference leader. He currently serves as rector of the Theological Bible Seminary in Guatemala (SETEGUA). He sits on the Doctoral Counsel of CONSELA (Consource of Seminaries for Latin America). He is part of the Consulting Counsel for Canal 27 for Televisión UHF in Guatemala, and has been producer of the program Reflexión Teológica for many years. He is author of various books. Among them is Theology of Communication: A Biblical Approach to Mass Communications (Teología de la Comunicación: Un acercamiento bíblico a los medios masivos de comunicación), published by Editorial Clie in Barcelona, Spain. He has served on the ministry staff full time since 1987. He is married with two children.
