Jeremy Duff is Director of Lifelong Learning in the Liverpool Diocese, and Canon of Liverpool Cathedral. Previously he taught Greek and New Testament at Oxford University.

Biography

Dr. Trevor R. Allin was born in London and studied Languages, Philosophy, and History of Religion and Theology at the University of Leeds, England, where he graduated summa cum laude. Subsequently, he studied linguistics at the Summer Institute of Linguistics and after that, worked with Wycliffe Translators of the Bible in Peru, obtaining his doctorate in Linguistics from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. Later on, he studied German at two German universities. For many years he served as a language professor in Spain, Scotland, England and Germany, and worked observing and providing feedback to language professors. His publications include reports for language teachers, study materials for pre-university language students, and book translations from Spanish and German into English and Spanish. He has taught Koine Greek in Spain and has written articles on the meaning of biblical texts and on some translations of the Bible.
