Frederik Rainer Siemens Dück was born in Asunción, Paraguay. He is a professor of Old Testament, Systematic Theology, Cults and Religious Movements, and Apologetics in the Faculty of Theology at UEP (CEMTA). He earned a master’s degree in theology from the School of Theology of Gießen (Germany). He is pursuing doctoral studies at Amsterdam University. He is married to Renate, and together they have two children, Thiago and Tania.
