Doctor, theologist, and Mexico poet. He is licensed in Theology from the Universidad Bíblica Latinoamericana en Costa Rica. He is a Presbyterian pastor and director of the Centro Basilea de Invesgación y Apoyo, A.C. He is a member of the Commission of Ecumenical Formation of World Council of Churches and serves on the editorial committee of Latin American Council of Churches. He is also coordinator for the permanent Spanish-language site on John Calvin: www.juan-calvino.org.
