Biography
Pablo A. Deiros was born in Paraguay in 1945, into a family of Argentine missionaries. He grew up in Argentina, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theology (International Baptist Theological Seminary) and a PhD from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Texas, 1985). He is recognized as one of the most influential evangelical theologians in Latin America.
He served as Rector of the International Baptist Theological Seminary (Buenos Aires) and taught Church History for nearly four decades. Additionally, he taught Mission History at the School of Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary (California) and has been a guest professor at institutions such as Princeton Theological Seminary and Hope College.
Author of over 95 books, numerous articles, and translations, Deiros has distinguished himself as a teacher and international speaker, also serving as a Baptist pastor for 50 years. A co-founder of the Latin American Doctoral Program (PRODOLA), he has significantly contributed to theological and pastoral development in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
